This page is the reference implementation of the work done by the W3C Media Annotations Working Group. We would like to thank all the participants of the W3C Media Annotations Working Group for their willingness to define the API, the core ontology and the mappings between metadata standards that serve as a basis for this implementation. This work has been partially supported by the THESEUS Program in cooperation with Siemens AG, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, and under the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union within the ICT projects PrestoPRIME (FP7 231161) and 2020 3D Media: Spatial Sound and Vision (FP7 215475).
